Charlie focuses his practice on land use, zoning, agricultural, and litigation-related matters. Having appeared in Federal Court and in the Courts of Common Pleas of Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, Charlie has a broad-range of experience representing businesses, developers, schools, and individuals.
Prior to joining MacElree Harvey, Charlie served as an appellate prosecutor in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where he gained extensive experience litigating before the Pennsylvania Superior and Supreme courts. Charlie has also litigated civil rights and labor and employment matters in the federal courts.
Charlie is a 2008 graduate of the Villanova University School of Law. While in law school, he completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Lawrence F. Stengel (E.D.Pa.), gained administrative law experience with the Environmental Protection Agency (Region Three), and honed his courtroom skills as a certified legal intern with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office. Charlie completed his undergraduate work at Georgetown University, where he majored in Government, minored in English and Theology, and graduated cum laude in 2003.
In 2013 – 2015 and then again in 2017 Charlie was selected to the Pennsylvania Rising Stars list published by Super Lawyers Magazine.
