Mary Kay Gaver, partner in MacElree Harvey’s business law department, will speak at Kennett Township’s speaker series designed for small businesses and entrepreneurs.
With over 20 years of experience to guide her, Ms. Gaver’s interactive presentation will focus on what to consider when forming a small business, documents that can help business owners protect themselves and their businesses, best practices for small businesses, and the intersection of business and estate planning.
Licensed to practice law in both Pennsylvania and Maryland, Ms. Gaver regularly counsels small, closely held businesses on strategic and tactical issues ranging from formation to meeting the daily challenges of business operations. She also advises clients in transition planning, including the drafting and negotiation of buy sell and asset purchase agreements.
