At MacElree Harvey, giving back is more than a commitment—it’s part of our culture. Our firm has a long-standing tradition of supporting nonprofit organizations, community initiatives, and educational programs that uplift individuals and strengthen the communities we serve. In 2024, we proudly donated roughly $200,000.00 to charitable causes. Through initiatives like our Jeans Days, sponsorships, and partnerships, we have made meaningful strides in creating a positive impact that resonates far beyond our offices.
Jeans Day Donations: Small Acts, Big Impact

Looking ahead to 2025, our first recipient will be LaMancha Animal Rescue, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing animals and placing them in loving homes.

A Testimonial of Hope and Inspiration
One of the most rewarding aspects of our charitable efforts is hearing from those whose lives we’ve touched. This year, we received a heartfelt testimonial from a family we supported over 15 years ago:
“I just wanted to send you a quick message and let you know that about 15 years ago I lived in West Chester with my son who is now 22. We had fallen on very hard times and we were a part of Interfaith Housing group and they assisted us with rent for a year. They also supported us for Christmas that year too. We were fortunate enough that your law firm was the one who sponsored us that year. It was probably 2008, if my memory serves me right, and it was single-handedly the best Christmas we ever had together. Not only were you able to supply amazing gifts for my 6 year old son but, you gave us $650 in gift cards which allowed me to purchase groceries for three months. We did end up struggling for a few more years until I was able to get on my feet and now in my later adult life, I am married and have additional children and every year we adopt a child for the holiday because I remember what it was like to struggle. I just wanted to let you know what an inspiration that it was for my son. He came with me to pick up the gifts and he knew where they came from. He was very appreciative and he also has never forgotten that Christmas. He is now a senior at Temple and he has plans to attend law school when he graduates. I believe we sent a Christmas card after that thank you guys for the Christmas miracle you were able to provide and I just wanted to let you know that even all these years later every year I still remember the kindness and grace you showed us when we were in dark times. Thank you and hope you all have a Merry Christmas!”
Stories like this remind us that our contributions extend far beyond monetary value. They create ripples of kindness that shape lives and inspire future generations.
Looking Ahead: Continuing Our Commitment
As we reflect on 2024, we are filled with gratitude for the opportunity to support so many incredible causes. These partnerships and contributions represent our ongoing commitment to being more than a law firm—we strive to be a force for good in our community.
We look forward to continuing this tradition of giving in 2025 and beyond, working together to build a brighter, more compassionate future.
