Pat concentrates his practice in business and
transactional law,with a particular emphasis on transactions that
involve the acquisition or other disposition of real estate and
its financing. Pat represents both lenders and borrowers in loan
and complex financing transactions involving both traditional lender
originated loans and tax exempt bond financing. Pat also provides
general corporate and contractual legal services to privately held
business and non-profit corporations and institutions. He has represented
clients involved in the construction of student housing facilities
and manufacturing facilities,and also advises clients regarding
tax deferred “exchanges” under Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue
Code. Pat is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
Pat is a member of the National and Pennsylvania
Associations of Bond Lawyers, and is listed as Co-Bond Counsel in
the Bond Buyer’s Municipal Marketplace (“Red Book”). He is a member
of the Pennsylvania and Chester County Bar Associations. Pat has
served on the Board of Directors of the West Chester Area YMCA Board
of Directors since 2001. He is on the Board and is a Past President
of the West Chester Downtown Foundation, a non-profit organization
that promotes the beauty and vitality of West Chester Borough.
